Más de 1000 cañas en un exitoso concurso en San Cayetano

Casi 5 millones de pesos estuvieron en juego este domingo en el tradicional concurso de pesca denominado “La rubia de San Cayetano”, evento que se extendió desde las 9 hasta las 17 horas y cumplió su 45° edición.

Con un total de 1006 inscriptos, el concurso se posiciona como uno de los principales de nuestro litoral marítimo, con cifras muy importantes de pescadores. El ganador resultó Carlos Fiore, cañofilo de Viedma, quien obtuvo una corvina de 3,457 kilogramos y se quedó con el primer premio de 1 millón de pesos. Segundo clasifico un experimentado marplatense, Juan Carlos Calvo, con una rubia de 3,384 y completó el podio el local, Ezequiel Mico quien extrajo una corvina de 3,302 kilogramos. Muchos nombres conocidos en el top 30 que entregó premios, incluso muchos que habían logrado clasificar en las recientes 24 horas de la corvina negra.

Para la organización de «El Marlín», Club de Pesca San Cayetano, un saldo más que positivo: 1.005 participantes, cantidad, calidad de corvinas y un día excepcional, algunos de los factores que les dan más ganas de continuar trabajando y sumando condimentos al tradicional concurso. Nos destacaban lo cambiante de toda la ganchera a lo largo del día, siendo el mejor ejemplo de ello, el primer puesto que desde el inicio le correspondió al local Ezequiel Mico hasta pasadas las 15:30 horas que apareció el ejemplar de Juan Carlos Calvo, que finalmente ocupó el segundo lugar porque sobre el cierre Carlos Fiore (pescando en “La cruz del motoquero”) le arrebató el ansiado primer puesto, quedándose con la edición 2022, homenaje a nuestro amigo, colaborador y pescador Rubén Nielsen.

Párrafo aparte y para destacar es el gesto deportivo de “Pucho” Duarte quien, al extraer una pieza de buen porte enganchada en otra línea, llamó a uno de los controles para cortarle la cola y dejar fuera de la ganchera a esa corvina.
