Barrionuevo, apellido que se acostumbró al podio

El 2023 es un gran año para la familia Barrionuevo, que ganó los torneos de Marisol y «Las 24» de la mano de Gustavo y ahora se adueño de Reta, con Nelson como ganador del último torneo de la temporada.

Es usual ver el apellido Barrionuevo en la grilla de clasificación de los distintos concursos de pesca en la costa bonaerense, ya sea con los hermanos Nelson y Gustavo, o la camada nueva, Antonella y Ulises. Bien arriba, en el medio o sólo participando, pero la familia siempre está acompañando a cada una de las organizaciones y disfrutando de lo que más los apasiona, la pesca deportiva. Este año, la suerte estuvo más que nunca de su lado. En Marisol, allá por enero, llegó la gran alegría para Gustavo, que ganó su primer torneo grande. «Pensé que nunca iba a ganar un torneo», expresó al bajar del podio el popular «Paisa», que se adueño de los más de 2 millones y medio de pesos que había en juego y saldo esa deuda de ganar un concurso. Pocas semanas después, entró en la historia grande de la pesca de la región quedándose con las míticas «24 horas de la corvina negra», evento que lo hizo acreedor a una camioneta 0 Km. Ahora, Reta le dio otra alegría a la familia, siendo el turno de Nelson, el «Nicha», aquel hombre que se emocionó tanto, hasta más que en sus triunfos, por la alegría de su hermano. El premio mayor en la propuesta del club Huracán de Tres Arroyos fue para el, tras lograr una corvina rubia de 2,615 kg, la cual cambió por un suculento premio de 2 millones de pesos. No fue el primero, fue uno más en una arena que le sienta bien, ya que había ganado en 2017, en un concurso que organizó el Club de Pesca Tres Arroyos, en aquella ocasión, la quinta edición de su propuesta piscatoria anual.

El concurso contó con la presencia de 548 pescadores, de los cuales 287 fueron inscriptos en forma anticipada. La pesca fue buena en toda la cancha de pesca, aunque el viento fue el gran protagonista de la jornada, acentuandose el pique en el tramo final del concurso.

Está 21° edición del torneo que organiza el club tresarroyense, tuvo como escolta de Barrionuevo a Fabián Weigandt, el experimentado pescador de Miramar que está acostumbrado a los primeros puestos, al igual que su esposa, Gabriela Giles. Logró con un ejemplar de 2,570 kg y se quedó con la suma de $800.000. La tercera ubicación quedó para Diego Úbeda de Punta Alta, quien con una corvina de 2,550 kg se alzó con un premio de $500.000. En lo que hace al concurso paralelo a la pieza de mayor peso, el ganador de los $300.000 fue el oriundo de Saladillo, Carlos Quintero con un chucho de 22,500 kilogramos. El segundo puesto fue para Lázaro Zocco de Benito Juárez con una pieza de 18,200 kg y tercero el de Tres Arroyos Gabriel Ervitti con un chucho de 11,700 kg.

En Cadetes, el primer puesto fue para Catalina Collazo con una corvina de 1,690 kg, el socio mejor clasificado fue Arturo Prado, con una corvina de 1,525 kg, el sorteo de anticipadas quedó para Nahuel Over de Tres Arroyos quien ganó la suma de $500.000.

El presidente de la Comisión de Pesca del club Huracán, Ezequiel Barrios se mostró conforme con el resultado del torneo y anticipó que es una fecha que se quedará para siempre, invitando a agendar Semana Santa para la propuesta en Reta.

La palabra del ganador:

Una vez finalizada la premiación, el gran ganador que tuvo el domingo dialogó con La Voz del Pueblo. Al respecto, Nelson Barrionuevo indicó que “muchas gracias a todos por estar acá, estoy muy feliz por este nuevo triunfo. Últimamente el apellido que porto da que hablar en cada concurso de pesca (risas), mi hermano viene con una racha buena y yo venía medio perdido, pero uno nunca pierde las esperanzas. Sobre el final, cuando faltaba media hora para terminar me picó y llegó la tan apreciada pieza, esa que tanto deseaba”.

Entre sus consideraciones, agregó que “siempre trato de ir para el fondo para buscar un chucho y esta vez opté por corvina, elegí el lugar ´La Chatarra´. Mi hijo me empezó a insistir y le hice caso en ir ahí, se nos dio. Es un lugar ideal por la profundidad que tiene y son puntos lindos ahí porque siempre da resultado, la mayoría de los concursos de corvina últimamente se han ganado en esa zona, por eso opté por quedarme en ese sitio. Tenía fe”.

Con emoción y lógicas lágrimas de emoción sobre sus ojos, dijo que “es un gracias total a mi familia que me banca siempre, a mis familiares y amigos también que siempre están presentes, tratamos de movernos todos juntos porque somos un grupo muy unido. El sábado por la noche en una cena dije que este concurso lo iba a ganar yo, estaba seguro que se me iba a dar. Y así fue nomás. El domingo arranqué la jornada relajado, estoy feliz por el premio, uno viene siempre para poder clasificar y si se da subir al podio, bienvenido sea”.

Al ser consultado sobre en qué destinará el premio de 2 millones de pesos, Nelson Barrionuevo no dudó y mencionó que “va todo destinado a la casa, asique este premio va para mi hogar y mi familia. Quiero saludar y agradecer a ellos porque son un pilar fundamental y a mis seres queridos, es lindo venir acá y pasar un fin de semana diferente. Fue un gran fin de semana y muy buena la organización del evento”.
