Más de un kilo el peje ganador del concurso de pesca en laguna La Arenera

Con un pejerrey de 1,012 gramos, el pescador Julio Fernández de Tres Arroyos se quedó con la 10° edición del torneo que organizó el Club de Pesca Claromecó.

La pesca despierta pasiones que serían imposibles de descifrar. Como la de muchos cañofilos que se apostaron en el acceso de laguna La Arenera desde varios días previos, estableciendo ese ritual de camaradería que ya es un clásico ante cada concurso pieza mayor. El frío no fue impedimento para que otra vez, un importante número de pescadores de color a la 10° edición del torneo que organizó el Club de Pesca Claromecó. Exactamente, 372 asistentes a la convocatoria que no llegó al cupo de 500 pescadores, pero que seguramente dejó conformes a los organizadores teniendo en cuenta la situación actual.

Tras varias suspensiones, finalmente este domingo tuvo lugar la actividad deportiva que tuvo un clima bastante difícil, con un sol muy ausente, un viento que hacía sentir el frío y el riguroso invierno que estamos atravesando. Tempranito, dos cadetes picaban en punta con ejemplares que superaban los 750 gramos, pero con el correr del concurso, fueron apareciendo piezas de mejor talla. Ganó Julio Fernández, de Tres Arroyos, con el único pejerrey que superó el kilo. El tandilense Fernando Canale fue segundo, con 937 gramos y José Montero, quién lidero buen rato, finalmente quedó en el tercer lugar del podio, representando a la localidad de San Francisco de Bellocq.

El pejerrey de Fernández lo hizo acreedor al premio mayor de los $250.000 que la organización estipuló para el ganador del torneo.

Cabe destacar que desde la organización colaboraron con los integrantes del equipo nacional que participaran del Campeonato Mundial de Longcasting en Italia, Juan Pablo Peralta y Ezequiel Morales, quienes vendieron números para el sorteo de un lechón que ganó Nicolás Marín con el el N°47.

En damas, la ganadora fue la tandilense Vanesa Manzano, acostumbrada a los primeros puestos en este tipo de torneos.
