Bustos subcampeón en la jornada del adiós

En Balcarce, el actual tetracampeón del mundo le puso el cierre a una exitosa carrera deportiva dentro del longcasting. Infinidad de títulos para un deportista que será difícil de superar.

Se desarrolló en el centro bonaerense, en campos de la ciudad de Balcarce un nuevo Nacional de Longcasting, el evento que reúne a los principales exponentes de cada una de las zonas donde se realiza la actividad. Los mejores clasificados del oeste, sur, centro y metro se encontraron en un torneo muy peleado y donde, por segunda vez consecutiva, se consagró campeón el marplatense Juan Hamber, quien había cortado, la pasada temporada, una seguidilla de cuatro títulos del tandilense Salvador Bustos, tirador que tanto en 2022 como este fin de semana, debió conformarse con el subcampeonato.

La actividad se completó entre sábado y domingo, con el lanzamiento de los cuatro plomos. En todos, Hamber fue inalcanzable para el resto, con un Bustos que peleo de cerca pero tenia su cabeza en otro lado, con sentimientos encontrados, sabiendo que esta seria su ultima competencia, tras el anuncio de su retiro realizado en el mes de noviembre. Ambos, junto al siempre presente Joaquín Quiroga cimentaron un nuevo triunfo de la zona centro, la más picante del circuito y, que desde el próximo año, extrañará a su máximo exponente deportivo.

Como marcó un antes y un después la llegada de Bustos al longcasting, su despedida será un gran reto a la nueva camada de deportistas que deberán demostrar su amor por la actividad y seguir dejando a nuestro país en lo más alto del mundo. Históricos como el crédito de Gardey, Marcelo Wagner, Luis Solimeno o Mario Montania dan paso a una legión de tiradores más jóvenes que deberán enaltecer este longcasting. Pasado memorable, presente venturoso con un Hamber que está en un gran momento, Quiroga y tantos otros que pueden ser la referencia absoluta con trabajo y esfuerzo, como también es promisorio el futuro, tras aquella semilla que prendió muy bien gracias a los que hoy se despidieron de la competencia.
