Tras una larga abstinencia, los pescadores balcarceños volvieron a la actividad competitiva en la pintoresca laguna La Brava, con la convocatoria del Club de Pesca local que volvió a desarrollar una competencia. Fue en el marco de la Copa Manuel González, primera cita del circuito anual que organizan y se realiza en la modalidad embarcados.
Dentro del centenar de cañofilos, Carlos Giménez y Gastón Hernández hicieron la diferencia y fueron los mejores, tras cerrar bolsa de 15 piezas que se permiten por cupo. La pieza mayor fue de 450 gramos.
Felicitaciones a los participantes y al grupo de trabajo del Club de Pesca que realizó un enorme trabajo tras aquel olvidable verano 2018 donde se produjo aquella masiva mortandad en la laguna.
