El tandilense Víctor Araujo ganó en Pinamar

Con la ausencia de las estrellas de la fiesta, las pescadillas, hubo que premiar a la variada y ahí sobresalió un pescador serrano que se llevó el premio mayor de un millón y medio de pesos. (Fotos gentileza Daniel Pavoni y Diego Araujo).

Con un clima que acompañó, pero una pesca que estuvo lejos de conformar a los participantes, se desarrolló en Pinamar una nueva edición de la tradicional Fiesta de la Pescadilla, el clásico evento que organiza el club local y que repartía más de tres millones y medio de pesos en premios.

797 cañas se inscribieron para participar de la jornada, en un torneo que, por cuarta vez en su historia, no tuvo pescadillas en su clasificación. El ganador fue Víctor Araujo, de la ciudad de Tandil, que sacó un ejemplar de raya de 3,250 kg y se adjudicó el millón y medio de pesos del premio principal.

Cabe recordar que ante la ausencia de pescadillas, cualquier otro ejemplar puede clasificar, siempre y cuando supere el peso mínimo de un kilo, condición no necesaria en el caso de las pescadillas.

Según nos contaba Diego Ceferino Araujo, quien realizó la cobertura del concurso, fue buena la fiscalización, lográndose mayoría de rayas, algunas buenas brótolas, dos chuchos de menos de 2 kilos, un pez palo y una corvina.
