Historias de “Las 24”: El concurso del récord de cañas

Venimos evocando algunos gratos recuerdos de las míticas, históricas y legendarias 24 Horas de la Corvina Negra, camino a la 61ra edición, el próximo 11 y 12 de febrero de 2023.

Hoy nos vamos a meter en el concurso récord. Y seguramente nadie soñó, cuando en 1962, 58 pescadores le dieron vida a la primera edición del concurso, pocos creerían llegar a casi 7000 cañas. Y eso pasó en 1987, con 6862 inscriptos que se hicieron presentes aquel 7 de febrero a las cuatro de la tarde para dar inicio a la que sería la concurrencia récord, hasta ahora. ya que, si hablamos de «Las 24 Horas de la Corvina Negra», podemos esperar cualquier cosa…. Aquel concurso lo ganaría el juarense Luis Dalera, con un pichón de negra de casi 4 kilogramos pescada en la zona del caracolero y que lo hizo acreedor a un Peugeot 505. Mario Pedone de Orense fue segundo, y se llevó un lujoso Fiat Regatta, mientras que la dama, Ethel Moralejo de Casbas se llevó las llaves del flamante Fiat Spazio. El tandilense Blas Santisteban se metió, como otras veces entre los premios, con un séptimo lugar y Bertel Nielsen, noveno entre los 10 que lograron negras. Seguiremos evocando lindas historias como estas. No te olvides que en Tandil encontras las inscripciones para «Las 24 Horas» en Todo pesca y armería Las Praderas, Belgrano 298.
