Se desarrolló en Tandil, el pasado domingo, la tercer cita del año de la zona centro del longcasting. Fue en inmediaciones a Gardey, donde un buen grupo de tiradores se dieron cita en búsqueda de buenos puntos de cara a lo que será el Nacional, clasificatorio al Mundial que se realizará este año en Paraguay.

Más de 50 casters pasaron por la pedana de tiro, con una jornada que se presentó muy complicada para la actividad, mañana de escaso viento y una tarde donde sopló una leve brisa. Primer triunfo para el de Otamendi, Joaquín Quiroga, de constante ascenso y que logró en su tercer tiro un bombazo de 258,980 m. que fue inalcanzable para el resto. Fue segundo el experimentado Mario Montania, con 254,501 m. y quedó tercero el marplatense Juan Hamber. Alto nivel en la zona centro que queda demostrado en la labor del tetracampeón mundial, el tandilense Salvador Bustos, que tras su viaje a Bélgica e Italia, donde dicto clínicas, volvió a competir y se posicionó quinto, a poco menos de diez metros del ganador. Hay que remontarse a muchos años atrás para ver un podio sin la presencia del experimentado serrano, acostumbrado a los primeros puestos desde mediados del 2016, un año después de su irrupción en la actividad. Entre el top 10, vuelve a aparecer Nazareno Serén, otro serrano que este año apareció con buenos parciales, , en esta ocasión, se metió noveno, y sigue expectante de cara a una posible clasificación al Nacional.
