En una mañana agradable en nuestro lago tandilense, el Club de Pesca Tandil realizó la segunda fecha de su calendario. Adrián Quinteros volvió con todo y se llevó la victoria, en tanto, el ganador de la primera fecha, Jorge Virgilio, se adueño de la copa Challenger 71er aniversario.
Este domingo, sobre la pasarela del murallón de nuestro lago local, tuvo lugar el segundo de los torneos del calendario anual del Club de Pesca Tandil, en el marco del campeonato de costa que lleva el auspicio de La Boutique del Pescador y estando en juego la copa Challenger 71er aniversario de la entidad de calle San Lorenzo.
Los 31 participantes compitieron enmarcados por excelentes condiciones climáticas, cielo despejado,
mucho sol, agradable temperatura y un viento que con el correr de la mañana fue aumentando en intensidad y dificultando el accionar de los pescadores. El pique fue muy interesante durante todo el concurso, con mucho pique de pejerreyes, algo inusual conociendo lo difícil que es el escenario local.
Divididos en cuatro sectores y alternando cada una hora, de entrada sorprendió Marcelo Carnisetti, con mucha actividad en las yo-yo amarillas y tomando la punta en forma parcial, no sólo durante la primera hora, cuando lideraba con 13 piezas, sino que promediando la mitad del concurso, lideraba la planilla con 25 piezas. Adrián Quinteros trabajó de menor a mayor y fue poniendo en aprietos a Carnisetti, al punto de superarlo en el tercer tiempo, con 7 piezas de diferencia que serían indescontables. Regulares y sumando parejos en todos los cambios, Jorge Virgilio y Guillermo Alperte se candidateaban para pelear por la copa aniversario, con un sprint final de Alperte que hizo hacer los números bien finos para definir.
Implacable Quinteros para quedarse con la segunda fecha del calendario con 49 piezas, récord de capturas en nuestro lago local en los clásicos concursos de 4 horas de duración. Gran trabajo de Alperte para ser segundo y superando por hora de extracción al sorprendente Carnisetti, quién decayó en los últimos dos cambios, falto de serenidad para definir un pleito que pudo ser suyo, pero que si sigue pescando así, no tardará en llegar su primer halago. Cuarto lugar para Virgilio, con 34 piezas y regreso a los primeros planos de Mariano Sosa y Carlos Cattaneo, tras una fecha apertura deslucida que los hace tener que remontar desde atrás en un campeonato muy corto y que no da posibilidades de errores. Séptimo puesto y victoria en cadetes para Tomás Fulguez, nuevo triunfo en su incipiente actividad cañófila. Andres Lescano, Adrián Córdoba y Mariano Paz completaron el top 10, mientras que Lautaro Torrado y Francisco Lagos subieron al podio entre los cadetes, detrás del mencionado Fulguez.
Tras el concurso, Ezequiel Vélez responsable de la subcomisión de pesca, estuvo a cargo de los cómputos y la premiación de la copa aniversario, Allí el premio mayor fue para Virgilio, quién por sólo dos puntos superó al experimentado Alperte y se quedó con la custodia del trofeo por un año. Gran trabajo del cadete Fulguez quedando tercero, a cinco puntos y fracción del ganador.
Cumplidas dos fechas de las cuatro del campeonato de costa, y destacando que también suma para el anual, Virgilio, Alperte y Fulguez lideran el torneo, con una importante diferencia sobre el resto, tras dos jornadas muy regulares. Sosa y Pablo Lagos se ubican cuarto y quinto, a más de 15 puntos del líder.
La próxima actividad del club será el 24 de abril, con la apertura de la faz embarcados, mientras que el 29 de mayo será la continuidad del torneo en nuestro lago local.
