La ventosa mañana del pasado domingo enmarco la tercer fecha del calendario de pesca del Centro Náutico del Fuerte, dónde 32 pescadores se dieron cita para concursar y disfrutar de una jornada al aire libre, con el condimento especial de estar en juego la 2° edición de la copa Miguel. A. Cattaneo y el auspicio de La Casa de Don Luis.
Tras varias semanas de muy buen pique, las primeras heladas que cayeron en nuestro lago local sembraron incertidumbre en el grupo de pescadores, que dudó en buscar al pejerrey a flote, o bien, volcarse a los aparejos de fondo. Como si fuera la previa a una carrera de TC, cada pescador eligió como arrancar a pescar, sabiendo que un cambio en pleno concurso, significaba una importante pérdida de tiempo. Así fue como construyó un nuevo triunfo el actual campeón del CNF, el experimentado Mariano Sosa, un pescador que asomó tímidamente hace dos décadas, en tiempos de grandes cañas que dominaban la pesca serrana, como Luciano Girotti, Andrés Rodríguez o los aún vigentes Carlos Cattaneo y Marcelo Morteo, pero que creció y hoy, a los 46 años, es uno de los grandes referentes de la actividad local. Con grandes lanzamientos en un fondo levantado, cosechó siete piezas en la difícil mañana y se quedó con la fecha y la copa Cattaneo. Gran trabajo de Martin Delisso, volviendo a un podio en el CNF tras una década, demostrando que a flote también se podía pescar, y con la misma cantidad de piezas, sufrió la hora de extracción y quedó como escolta de Sosa. Enorme primer podio de un esforzado Diego Peralta, que volvió a meterse entre los mejores con una buena faena en la modalidad de fondo. Regular y a paso firme buscando quedarse con el titulo que se le escapó en 2019, quinto lugar de Aldo Spina, detrás del siempre presente Adrián Quinteros, y por delante de otro longevo del club, Fabian Cabrera, de amplia historia en la entidad con reducto en el Lago. Paso en falso para uno de los candidatos, el último ganador y líder de la subcomisión cañofila del CNF, el popular «Quique» Martínez, quién apostó y perdió jugándose desde su casa a la pesca en superficie. La copa cadete quedó en manos del joven Ramiro Caballero.
Con este resultado, cumplidas tres de las seis programadas, el torneo que lleva el auspicio de Casa Atahualpa lo lidera Aldo Spina, con escaso margen sobre Sosa. Más lejos, pero con amplias chances, Cabrera y Martínez se ilusionan con pelear por el titulo.
