Club de Pesca Tandil realizó este domingo su apertura del calendario de variada de mar 2018, en la escollera de Quequén y con la presencia de una docena de pescadores que se dieron cita a la propuesta de la entidad de calle San Lorenzo. El torneo cuenta con el auspicio de Carlos Cabrera Pesca, novel comercio del ramo recientemente inaugurado en Avenida Avellaneda 1756 de la ciudad de Tandil, es parte del anual «Municipalidad de Tandil» y suma puntos para la Copa Master «Mariano Sosa e Hijos».

La mañana se presentó ventosa, con un fuerte viento de frente y un pique aceptable. Notable labor de Jerónimo Sturla, cada vez más firme en los primeros planos en su regreso a la actividad, quien supo aprovechar los consejos de experimentados pescadores y se llevó un nuevo triunfo dentro del Club de Pesca. Facundo Menchon y Guillermo Alperte, dos de los grandes exponentes tandilenses completaron el podio. Diez de los doce participantes lograron capturas, lo que demostró que la actividad ictica estaba. Por la tarde, con la presencia de 11 cañofilos, se disputó la segunda fecha, con victoria del sorprendente Ezequiel Vélez, con escasa pesca que hizo extremar esfuerzos a más de uno de los competidores. Guillermo Alperte y Pablo Lagos ocuparon los restantes espacios del podio, y sólo seis pescadores lograron pieza alguna.

Guillermo Alperte es líder de este campeonato, tras las dos primeras citas de las seis programadas, por escaso margen sobre los ascendentes Vélez y Silvio Contino, de gran temporada. Doce cañofilos puntúan hasta el momento en este campeonato «Carlos Cabrera Pesca», una cifra muy baja teniendo en cuenta la tradicional convocatoria del club. Habrá que analizar desde la comisión normalizadora, el porque de esta situación que se ve cada vez más, y llama la atención al no ver a varios de los tradicionales exponentes del club en el listado de participantes de la fecha.

.Tras 11 de las 15 competencias programadas en esta temporada, Guillermo Alperte volvió a ser el lider, en un virtual empate con Mariano Sosa y Pablo Lagos. Facundo Menchon cayó al cuarto lugar, pero nada esta definido, ya que se descarta la peor actuación de este torneo, y ahi puede cambiar todo. Etapa de definiciones, ya que restan las fechas de octubre y noviembre, para definir los clasificados a los campeonatos provinciales de la próxima temporada.
