En una jornada signada por la escasa actividad piscatoria, el club Defensores de Belgrano realizó el tercer y último torneo del campeonato apertura, en su subsede del balneario Marisol. Un mar en buenas condiciones, pero el pique estuvo ausente, debiendo extremar esfuerzos los pescadores para dar con capturas aisladas.
La diferencia la marcó Edgardo Menchon, ganador en cantidad de piezas, lo que lo convirtió en ganador por escaso margen, ya que empataron los tres integrantes del podio en puntos. Tres piezas para Menchon que superó a Matias Bustamante y el siempre vigente Alberto Pincetti, cañofilo que logró la pieza mayor, un chucho de 5.300 kg. Sexto puesto para el avezado Mauricio Miguel, quien se quedó con el campeonato pero se le terminó una extensa racha de 22 podios consecutivos.
