Recordemos que el año pasado en este Grand Prix, Salvador Bustos se quedó con el tiro más largo de 269.810 m. y hubo marcas muy importantes de otros tiradores, como Juan Hamber (268.848 m), Facundo Sosa (264.150 m), Joaquín Quiroga (251.903 m), Emanuel Gourriet (249.190 m), Alberto Inda (248.930 m) y Juan Pablo Peralta (248.570 m).
Vale destacar que la zona centro arrancará un nuevo año el 10 de abril en Vidal, con la participación del campeón del mundo, Salvador Bustos, el tandilense que va por su sexto titulo en forma consecutiva en la zona.
En la apertura en Vidal se lanzará 175 gramos. El 15/5, en Balcarce será el turno de 150 gramos, y el 12/6, Miramar será anfitrión en 125 grs. Los pagos del campeón, Tandil tendrán el cierre el 10/7, aunque habrá tiempo para el recuperatorio, bien al sur, en Claromecó, el 7/8.
