Ganar este torneo es toda una proeza, pero ganarlo dos veces, es casi utópico. Ese gusto de ser doble triunfador se lo dio Hugo Rasmussen.

El pescador de Tres Arroyos, ganó en el ’63 y en el ´69, inscribió su nombre por segunda vez con una negra lograda en El Letrero, y que superó los 23 kilos. La primera, hubo sólo 60 participantes, pero en la segunda, ya 184 pescadores estaban a la orilla de la playa. Rasmunsen lo ganó, pero por poco, ya que cuando estaba por comenzar la entrega de premios, llegó un Jeep que transportaba a Mario Máspero, junto a su inseparable amigo Osvaldo Rodríguez y una enorme corvina negra que estaba por encima de los 25 kilogramos. El concurso se había cerrado a las 5 de la tarde. Marito y su compañero, sin dormir, habían aguardado el pique durante todo el concurso y este había llegado, pero 5 minutos después de finalizado el mismo. Máspero se resignó, pero gruesas lágrimas rodaron por sus mejillas, según rescataba en su crónica en La Voz del Pueblo, el inolvidable “Popi” Guido.
