Debutante en las huestes del CNF este año, y en una temporada donde la cantidad de piezas no fue abundante y hubo que extremar técnicas para lograr buenos resultados, Leandro Trevisiol logró su segunda victoria consecutiva e hilo el tercer podio del 2022. En una jornada donde no hubo pique se las ingenió para lograr 2 pejerreyes y quedarse, no sólo con la quinta fecha, sino con la copa Tripodi en su segunda edición. El experimentado Carlos Cattaneo volvió al segundo escalón del podio y sumó importantes puntos para meterse en la discusión por el campeonato.
Cumplidas cinco de las seis fechas programadas, Mariano Sosa se mantiene como líder del torneo con 121 puntos, ahora escoltado por Trevisiol, quién se mete en la lucha con una fecha menos, a sólo 8 puntos de Sosa. Tercero es Enrique Martinez con 112, a uno del escolta, mientras que aparecen más atrás los avezados Aldo Spina y Carlos Cattaneo, este último, ya sin chanches matemáticas de campeonar.
La próxima fecha se fijo para el domingo 7 de agosto, donde estará en juego la primera edición de la copa homenaje a Ramón García y la quinta edición de la clásica Copa «Viejos amigos». Dicho domingo, se definirá, entre Sosa, Trevisiol, Martínez y Spina, el campeón de la temporada.
