Volvió la emotividad al longcasting de la zona centro, con un nivel que sigue en ascenso y tiradores que se sacan chispas cada vez que pasan por la pedana de tiro.
Miramar fue sede de una nueva convocatoria de la zona centro del longcasting nacional, con la presencia de más de 40 casters que desafiaron el frío y estuvieron en el campo buscando buenos metros. Tocó el turno del lanzamiento de 100 gramos, último plomo del circuito, antes de los recuperatorios donde cada tirador mejora sus peores labores en el año.
En una mañana fría, el primer tramo lo dominaba el marplatense Juan Hamber, pero en el segundo tiro, un bombazo de Joaquín Quiroga que superó los 265 metros pareció definir gran parte del plomo. No fue así, ya que después de un buen rato de tranquilidad y lances que no llegaban lejos, apareció el de Claromecó, Juan Pablo Peralta para superar al de Otamendi por escasos centímetros, y le dejó toda la presión encima a Quiroga, quien pareció no sentirla y metió, escasos minutos después un lanzamiento a 268,260 m. de la pedana, inalcanzable para el resto. Tras terminar muy bien en el 2021, experimenta un importante ascenso esta temporada y asoma como uno de los grandes candidatos para el título. Ganó la prueba, sumó su tercer podio al hilo y la segunda victoria consecutiva para ponerse en lo más alto de un campeonato muy peleado, tal como son cada fecha.
Segundo puesto para Peralta, en su primer podio del año, y último escalón para Hamber, el más regular del año hasta el momento, ya que, a pesar de no haber ganado, no baja del podio. Fue cuarto el inoxidable Mario Montania, mientras que volvió a quedar quinto el tandilense Salvador Bustos, el tetracampeón del mundo que salvó el domingo en el anteúltimo tiro, con 255,693 m; tras cuatro lanzamientos inválidos. El otro tandilense, Nazareno Serén se ubicó 14to en la categoría, bajando su labor con respecto a un inicio de temporada que había arrancado muy bien. En segunda, el ganador fue Luciano Montania, seguido por José Tarantino y Juan Mansilla, en tercera ganó Andrés Saralegui, mientras que, entre los invitados, Jorge Casco fue el destacado, superando los 253 metros.
La continuidad del longcasting en la zona centro será el 14 de agosto con el recuperatorio en Claromecó, el primero de los dos que tiene la temporada. En ambas citas, la definición de un campeonato muy atrapante, tras cinco títulos al hilo de Bustos, es la primera vez que hay posibilidades ciertas de que cambie el monarca, aunque el tandilense de raíces en Gardey, al igual que Quiroga y Hamber, dependen de si mismo: ganando ambos torneos gritaran campeón. Hoy Quiroga suma 395, Hamber 394 y Bustos 392. Todo por definirse.
