Tenía ganas de escribirle algo, una devolución a lo mucho que ha dado por los pescadores deportivos durante tantos años, después de tantas crónicas con las que nos deleitó, hoy elijo escribir una despedida a quien fuera, es y será un icono en la pesca deportiva de la región, a un referente como Alberto Tripodi, quién se nos fue una de esas mañanas como las que soñaba antes de salir de pesca. Sol pleno, agradable temperatura y escaso viento en superficie como solía decir en sus informes radiales.
Fue de esas noticias que nos golpea, tan dura como inesperada. Se nos fue una persona que traspaso las barreras institucionales, que siempre se acercó a cada uno de los movimientos de pescadores, sin distinción de camisetas. A la hora de hacer periodismo, ser socio o concursar siempre acompañaba a todos. Comercialmente, fue un bastión importantísimo de la actividad local y periodísticamente acompaño a casi todos. Durante más de 25 años llevó un clásico que quedará en la historia, y que nos va a doler abrir el sábado “El Eco” y no tener su “Tirando la Línea”. Fue parte importante de Radio Tandil con sus micros de pesca, en los programas deportivos o el más recordado, los sábados por la tarde donde pasaba la información de pesca y la palabra de los protagonistas de cada concurso. Será difícil olvidar los sábados a la noche, la legendaria y exitosa “Oral del Aire Libre”, donde Alberto compartía su experiencia en la tira semanal de Luis María Muñoz que con el tiempo, pasaría a los domingos muy temprano en LS5 Radio Rivadavia. O aquella recordada “Alternativa Deportiva” de Teodoro Penoff en LU9 Radio Mar del Plata y los aportes a casi todo programa que salía al aire: Hombres de Pesca, el Diario Oral del Pescador con Daniel Console y tantísimos otros donde fue fuente de consulta permanente, y en cada uno, brindaba sus conocimientos, sea la hora y el momento que sea. Buscando señal arriba de un médano, en pleno viaje de colectivo o arriba de un bote… el informe salia. Esa garra, ese tesón, fue el que lo acompaño hasta pocos días antes, donde con algunos problemas de salud pescó y casi les ganó a sus compañeros del club Defensores de Belgrano en lo que sería su última pesca, cinco días antes de su partida. Esa tenacidad hizo que desde la clínica deje listo su último “Tirando la Línea” para que salga en las páginas de “El Eco” al día siguiente ó que planeara su salida por Radio Azul como todos los programas a las 8 AM.
Fue una de esas personas inclaudicables, que no sabia de cansancio con tal de ir detrás de un informe ó de una salida de pesca, como aquella “Fiesta de la brótola” en Villa Gesell de hace escasos años, donde bajo la lluvia, junto a su querido amigo, Blas Santisteban, participaron previo encajarse, cuando la mayoría arrugaba por las malas condiciones climáticas; o aquel provincial, donde se dio vuelta la embarcación y cayó al agua, siendo rescatado con un principio de hipotermia y con casi 75 años, pidió ser esperado que se cambiara para poder ingresar y seguir compitiendo. Las míticas y legendarias 24 horas de la corvina negra también lo tendrán en un lugar privilegiado de su historia, ya que fue un baluarte importantísimo desde aquellos inicios, ya sea participando, difundiendo o como uno de los puntos de venta más importantes de la provincia de Buenos Aires. Seria muy largo hablar de lo que hizo por los clubes locales, ya que a todos aportó muchísimo. Asistencia perfecta a los torneos del club Def de Belgrano y uno de los precursores de la colocación del Monumento del Pescador en el recordado predio del Club de Pesca.
En lo personal, fue un referente desde que me empezó a apasionar la pesca. Muchos recortes me quedan de esas páginas que en mi niñez eran casi coleccionables. Audios imborrables en mis oídos pensando en donde programar la salida de pesca. El tiempo hizo que a través de la actividad nos conociéramos y que al poco tiempo comience mi recorrido por los medios. A partir de ahí se me vienen a la mente interminables charlas, en un concurso, en las cenas, en los mates de la cocina de «Las Praderas» y en cada lugar que nos cruzábamos, donde demostraba su compromiso, su idoneidad, su humildad y su hombría de bien. A veces ligaba un tirón de orejas por aquello que era una premisa ineludible “nunca desinformar, es preferible quedarse callado antes de dar algo erróneo”, cuantas veces dicha por Alberto; y muchas otras, las más lindas, aquellas felicitaciones por ir por el camino correcto. Nos acompañó en varias ocasiones en el piso de nuestro programa, y en una de ellas, el placer de un mano a mano hablando de su vida. Jueves tras jueves estaba atento a que no se nos pase ningún detalle, y el teléfono unas cuantas veces sonó para corregir, durante y después del programa. En cada una de las casas por las que pasamos con Planeta Pesca Radio, engalano el mismo con su presencia. Esa humildad y ese respeto permitía que este en todos lados, y en todos lados sea recibido con honores, como aquella mañana de Paraíso Natural de Radio Provincia, en una casa comercial competencia, como La Boutique del Pescador; donde disfrutamos de dos horas junto a un gran amigo como Gustavo Mehl. Cada charla tenía el condimento que me gustaba escuchar, esas historias de vida, esa enseñanza que a los que nos gusta escuchar «a los viejos», como con cariño siempre digo, disfrutamos tanto.
Me quedo con un montón de buenos momentos, de consejos y frases que no se van a olvidar. Seguro ya estará programando alguna salida de pesca en la laguna del cielo con los grandes que lo estaban esperando: Rodolfo Perri, Teodoro Penoff, Rogelio Virgone, Haig Vartazian, Nello Principi y tantos otros comunicadores, como amigos que le dio la vida a lo largo de tantos años de competencias. Nos quedan los gratos momentos vividos, caña en mano, o detrás de los micrófonos y en los clubes, todos espacios donde nos iluminó con su sabiduría honraron con su amistad y es seguro que cada vez que pisemos una cancha de pesca, un club de pesca o simplemente en cualquier relevamiento Alberto Tripodi estará presente. ¡¡Hasta siempre querido amigo!!
