Este fin de semana la laguna de Gómez en Junín será escenario de la primer convocatoria del año, en la modalidad pejerrey, en el marco de los Campeonatos Provinciales de Pesca que organiza la Federación de Pesca y Lanzamiento de la provincia de Buenos Aires y donde estarán presentes clubes ó peñas tandilenses afiliadas a FEPYLBA: Centro Náutico del Fuerte, Club de Pesca Tandil y Peña Pescadores de Tandil.
Será un cronograma que tendrá actividad conjunta de mayores y seniors, con tres torneos en el fin de semana. Por el lado de los mayores de 65 años, la presencia de los pescadores del Centro Náutico del Fuerte, con el cuarteto de Enrique Martinez, Rómulo Hernández, José Durand y Carlos Cattaneo, regresando a las huestes del CNF, tras un paso por el TPC y el Club de Pesca Tandil. Serán los únicos en participar de Tandil en dicha categoría.
Por el lado de los mayores, entre 120 inscriptos, el Club de Pesca Tandil irá con dos conjuntos. El equipo principal estará integrado por Guillermo Alperte, Gustavo Nanti, Mariano Sosa, Ezequiel Vélez, Pablo Lagos y Fabián Cabrera. El equipo B compuesto por Jeronimo Sturla, Martin Florez y Andrés Lescano. La peña Pescadores de Tandil, el Team Casa Atahualpa, es el único que equipo que participó de la ciudad en la apertura en La Plata, mantendrá el equipo formado por Facundo Menchon, Eduardo Chermelo, Adrián Quinteros, Jorge Virgilio, Gonzalo Mendoza y Fernando Bustamante.
Participaran delegaciones de diferentes lugares de la provincia, en los dos torneos del sábado, y uno el domingo. Entre ellos estarán presentes los representantes de Pescadores de Junín, Club Cazadores de Junín, Club Laguna de Gómez, Las Acollaradas de Bolívar, La Terraza de Berisso, Club de Pesca Balcarce, Pescadores de Lobería, Asociación Loberense de Pesca y Casting, Club de Pesca Santa Teresita, Atlántico de Mar del Plata, Caza, pesca y Náutica de Villa Gesell, Marea Roja de Tres Arroyos, Club de Pesca Tres Arroyos, Club de Pescadores de Olavarría, entre otros. Serán dos jornadas donde se concursará en la modalidad embarcada con línea de flote, en su mayoría, y tres anzuelos, con una duración de tres horas por torneo y se podrá utilizar como carnada filet de pejerrey, mojarra o filet de dentudo. El reglamento permitirá que en cada bote ingresen tres concursantes de distinto club, designados por sorteo previo. Estos se dirigirán al sector de pesca y una vez que el bote se ancla no se podrá mover hasta que se dé por concluido el torneo. Ya desde días previos, equipistas de diferentes clubes participantes recorren todos los sectores para conocer más a fondo el lugar de competencia, en un hecho fundamental para conseguir una pesca que les permita ser los protagonistas de una prueba que para ganarla hay que lograr las 12 piezas de como mínimo 25 centímetros de longitud, el sábado, y 25 ejemplares, el día domingo, obviamente, en el menor tiempo posible.
Gran desafío en la legión de cañofilos tandilenses que van a tratar de abrir de la mejor manera el campeonato de pejerrey, modalidad que en el último campeonato anual tuvo dominio serrano, con la titulo de la Peña Pescadores de Tandil y el subcampeonato del Club de Pesca local, un hecho sin precedentes en la historia.
