Vamos a remontarnos en este domingo a los años 90…tiempos de mis primeras pescas en familia, y principalmente con el ser principal de esta historia. Cupe. mi viejo para los que no lo conocen. Viajamos en el tiempo a la orilla de un arroyo de la zona llamado Langueyú, en cercanías de Rauch, que kilómetros después se convierte en el Canal 1.


Fue una de mis primeras salidas, y la mente no me trae a quienes éramos perfectamente…pero fue una pesca clásica de la época…llegar a media tarde, juntar leña para el churrasco. Pescar dientudos para encarnar en la noche. Y al caer la tardecita, empezar a buscar los buenos bagres, algunas taruchas y carpas, que recién parecían a pulular en la zona. Como siempre solía hacer en aquellos tiempos, no ahora, Cupe caminaba largos metros tirando un par de líneas de fondo, y alguna caña cercana al campamento, para ponerse a cocinar mientras nosotros seguíamos pescando. Comíamos, y antes de que nos diéramos cuenta, ya no lo veíamos más, ni a él, ni a la radio, una vieja Aiwa del tiempo e´ñaupa..la cual debe orillar los 2 o 3 kilos de peso. Digo debe, porque aún suena en mi escritorio al compás de las transmisiones futboleras…y fue así, que esa noche salió a buscar su pesca…y tardó un buen rato…hasta que se sintieron gritos de ayuda…caminamos unos cuantos metros, ya que había intentado llegar por sus propios medios hasta cerca de 300 m. del campamento, y al llegar a donde estaba, notamos la radio con un partido de futbol, y a él, en el medio de la oscuridad, con una bolsa de repleta de bagres y tarariras.. ¿Qué pasó?…el muy gauchito contestó…»Me quede sin pilas en la linterna» a lo que contestaron…»Papa…!!..Y las pilas de la radio……»..Ahh….!!!! No me avivé…bueno…ya que caminaron llévenme la bolsa de pescados, que yo cuando termine el partido le sacó las pilas a la radio…»…

Este es el viejo que me metió en esta pasión llamada Pesca Deportiva…el que me enseño tantas cosas y con el que hoy aprendemos mutuamente.
