Una nueva entrevista semanal en el foro, un merecido reconocimiento a quién es hoy en día, sin dudarlo, para muchos, el referente Nº 1 en Pesca Deportiva de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, desde hace muchos años con su producto Video Pesca en Canal 8 de Mar del Plata lleva adelante un periodismo como a todos nos gusta, sin negocios ni mentiras, con la bandera del pescador deportivo bien en alto y como principal estandarte. Esta semana, Francisco «Paco» García se presta a este mano a mano con Planeta Pesca.

  • Cuentenos algo de usted..?? Cuando comenzó a pescar..?? Como nació su amor por la Pesca..??

Mi pasión por la pesca comenzó desde niño, mi padre era motorista de barcos de altura y cuando realizaba tareas de mantenimiento en el puerto yo lo acompañaba y de paso con una cañita de fibra de vidrio maciza hacia mis primeras capturas de corvinas, desde ese momento se despertó el amor por este deporte, también, junto con los pibes del barrio tomábamos nuestras bicicletas, principalmente los fines de semana, y hacíamos nuestros intentos en la escollera sur que por aquellos tiempos en la parte interna del puerto, contaba con aguas mucho más limpias que en este momento.

  • Tuvo maestros dentro de la Pesca..??

De cada compañero de pesca pude rescatar algo, desde mis comienzos hasta el día de la fecha, tuve la suerte de pescar con grandes especialistas, cada uno en lo suyo y así día a día trate de absorber de ellos sus mejores experiencias. Mi gran compañero fue Adrian Piralla, siempre dispuesto a todo, Antonio Tilves Crespo, otro de mis inseparables compañeros, Gustavo Parodi y Daniel Gimenez pescadores de alta competencia y hoy apasionados por la pesca de embarcados, Gustavo Bracaccini, un audaz en esta actividad, sin miedo a nada y tal vez el que más me ha enseñado hasta el momento es Vicente “el Tano” Cappola, intuitivo, constante, y conocedor de todos los ámbitos.

  • Como ve la transformación de los medios informativos del genero de ayer a hoy..??

Noto un gran crecimiento en la difusión de nuestro deporte, suceden las noticias y en minutos se brinda la información, no comparto los formatos de algunos programas, no solo de nuestro genero, sino de distintos rubros que se han transformado en una via simplemente comercial, describiendo marcas y elementos en forma puntual y apartándose de lo instructivo que va por otro carril. El televidente es inteligente, no hay que subestimarlo y lo que necesita es contenido informativo, el elegirá sus elementos de acuerdo a sus posibilidades económicas y necesidades.

  • Pensando a futuro, como ve la pesca deportiva en un par de años..??

Veo la pesca deportiva a corto plazo con cierta dificultad, sin ser pesimista, vemos día a día una presión de pesca sin control sobre algunas especies, la pesca comercial sigue arrasando nuestros fondos sin respeto al medio y a las reglamentaciones vigentes, no se respetan vedas, tallas ni especies protegidas. Analizando al pescador deportivo, veo con gran optimismo su participación, ya que cada vez toma mayor conciencia sobre nuestros recursos icticos, salvo casos excepcionales, somos respetuosos y prudentes con nuestras capturas. También, me preocupa la contaminación ambiental y el cambio climático, ya que día a día parece complicarse más, químicos, hidrocarburos, desagües, desechos tóxicos, etc. Se vierten a nuestras aguas sin ningún miramiento, esto si necesitara sin dudas una política más compleja y con ellos un cambio de mentalidad en nuestra población.

  • Que es hoy Internet para el pescador..??

Internet resulta hoy una herramienta fundamental para la comunicación audiovisual en todo nivel y por ahora, bien aprovechada por fuentes de información confiables y objetivas en nuestro rubro, los pescadores utilizan los foros existentes para nutrirse de información y maximizar los resultados de pesca, hoy movilizarse significa un gasto importante y gracias a las experiencias de otros podemos orientar nuestros equipos en lugares específicos de buenos rendimientos.

  • Por que pescar y devolver..??

No siempre la pesca tiene que culminar con el sacrificio del ejemplar y mucho menos en las pescas en donde están limitadas las tallas y las especies, tampoco vemos con desagrado a aquellos que se llevan algunas de sus capturas para disfrutarlas en gastronomía, seguramente hay un equilibrio justo que no afecte al recurso y que satisfaga al pescador, por otra parte, no comparto la idea de devolver absolutamente todas las piezas, salvo con especies protegidas o en zonas donde peligre el recurso, en la formación del pescador también debe estar no solamente la pesca sino también la satisfacción que nos da filetear una pieza, conservar sus carnes y agasajar a nuestros seres queridos con estos manjares que plenamente valoramos los que practicamos este deporte.

  • Una anécdota entre tantas que quiera compartir..??

En tantos años hemos vivido cientos de momentos, afortunadamente todos alegres, desde algún blooper, una caída, una captura que se escapa, algún compañero que olvida sus elementos, pero mi máxima fue en Salada Grande de Madariaga pescando desde tierra, se me cayó un señuelo por un agujero de un puente y cosa curiosa, tocó el agua y desde el momento inicial hasta que hice la extracción fue menos de 16 segundos capture un bagre de muy buen porte. Quedo todo registrado por nuestra cámara de video, y a pesar de ello, todavía no resulta creible.

  • Un deseo??

Un deseo: que sigamos creciendo en nuestra actividad, tanto los comunicadores, como el publico que nos acompaña, que aprendamos a valorar lo que tenemos y que seamos el nexo para transmitir esta pasión que en definitiva es nuestra forma de vida.
