Ya atravesamos en Planeta Pesca la docena de entrevistas a grandes referentes de la Pesca Deportiva, y esta semana nos metemos en el mano a mano con un colega y referente, el Lic. Víctor de Víctor, el Profe como le dicen los amigos, es marca registrada cuando hablamos de personas que hacen periodismo con la Pesca. Con dilatada trayectoria en los medios, y hoy administrador y creador de la gran familia de Pescadores en la Red, se sienta en este fogón virtual de charlas, «El Profe..»

  • Cuentenos algo de usted..?? Cuando comenzó a pescar..?? Como nació su amor por la Pesca..??

Me gustaría empezar por el gran tesoro de mi vida, mi familia. Me casé joven, con María Inés hace 26 años, con quien aún estoy de novio. Tengo 3 hijos Verónica (25), Florencia (23) y Nicolás (20). Todos trabajan y estudian y me dan muchas satisfacciones. Los 4 en conjunto, es lo mejor que me pasó en la vida, soy un hombre muy afortunado. En lo personal, tengo 50 años, estudié mucho a lo largo de los años. Periodismo en el Círculo de la Prensa, locución en la Ibero, soy profesor de Biología y Licenciado en Educación. Desde hace 20 años dirijo el Colegio del Libertador fui docente de aula, Director de Estudios, Rector y hoy soy Director General de esa prestigiosa Institución. En lo que hace al periodismo, hice de todo. Comencé en el año 1985 escribiendo en distintos medios. Empecé con algunos artículos en revistas barriales hasta escribir en Aire & Sol, Vida Salvaje, Pesca, Caza y Aventura, etc. Publiqué 2 libros: “Ictiología para pescadores” y “Guía de peces de agua dulce”. A principios de los ‘90 inicié mi romance con la radio trabajando en Radio América, Radio Splendid y en otros medios muy importantes. En un momento determinado empecé a producir mis propios programas radiales con ciclos exitosos como “El Pescador” y “Campo y agua”, un recuerdo especial para “Pescadores en Radio”, programa que hicimos con amigos hasta 2010. En 1992, de la mano de Raúl Laino llegué a la tele con “Deportur 2000”, trabajé también con Martín Kambourian en “Fin de semana” y hoy hago algunos bloques de pesca para “El Apostadero”. También produje mi propio programa televisivo. Durante 4 años (202 programas) estuvimos en la pantalla de Canal Rural Satelital con “Argentina Aventura”. En los 2000 llegó a mi vida Internet. Comencé escribiendo algunos artículos en Pescanet y en Full Aventura. Luego, necesitaba encarar un proyecto propio. Junto a mi familia fundé Pescanautas, luego, me asocié con jóvenes muy emprendedores a quienes transferí mi parte para después iniciar un proyecto nuevo con otras características: Pescadores multimedios. Esta última etapa de mi experiencia en los medios de la pesca es mucho más tranquila, con menos vértigo que las anteriores, creo que va a ser la última. Aquí eché anclas. Con mucha dedicación y esfuerzo hacemos Pescadores en la Red y Radio Pescadores. Mi familia y un calificado equipo de colaboradores y corresponsales me acompañan en el proyecto.
Cuándo empecé a pescar?… desde muy chico. Fue a los 5 años cuando junto a mis padres y hermano vacacionábamos en el delta, primero, unas semanas en el arroyo Toro y luego, meses enteros, desde diciembre a marzo en el río Sarmiento. Días y días de pesca fueron toda una escuela… El amor por la pesca nació así, hoy esta actividad ocupa un lugar preponderante en mi vida, respiro pesca, no podría vivir sin practicarla.

  • Tuvo maestros dentro de la Pesca..??

Si, muchos. Juan Carlos Tossi, Juan Martín de Yániz… creo que habré leído el manual de pesca de Yániz unas 100 veces. También los “viejos” queridos pescadores del Club Guazú del que era socio y donde pasé mi juventud aprendiendo secretos de ellos, tanto de pesca, como de cocina. El club tiene aún hoy una cocina que es un aula… Aprendí a armar brazoladas y a cocinar las pizzas de Pepín y frituras y chupines con Don Arquímedes Doria. Hoy tengo muchos maestros, la gente que pesca conmigo. Aprendí de Simón, de Exequiel, de Jorge Carnevale y de hasta de Facundo, un joven de 18 años que pesca con nosotros. Soy docente de raza, y estoy convencido de que la educación es un feed back, proceso de permanente ida y vuelta. El día que no pueda aprender algo de los que me rodean, me dedico a otra cosa.

  • Pensando a futuro, cómo ve la pesca deportiva en un par de años..?? Qué podemos hacer nosotros los pescadores??

Soy un optimista por naturaleza, pero no puedo soslayar que si no cuidamos el medio nos quedaremos sin actividad. Optimista… la pesca es un recurso natural renovable y la vida siempre se abre paso. También podemos ayudar, la tarea de repoblación de lagunas que se ha hecho en los últimos años ha sido maravillosa. Pero no podemos quedarnos sólo con eso, hay que empezar por uno mismo, respetando cupos, medidas vedas y preservando el equilibrio natural, tratando de que el lugar en el que pescamos no acuse evidencias que estuvimos por allí. Los que tenemos un lugar en los medios, debemos enseñar y persuadir con mensajes dirigidos hacia el respeto por la naturaleza.

  • Qué es lo que más disfruta de la pesca..?? Su pesca preferida..??

Todo, empezando por armar mis propias líneas, preparar carnadas, comida, indumentaria, el propio hecho de pescar en comunión con la naturaleza, el silencio en el momento de la pesca, la charla con el compañero de pesca, que casi siempre empieza por una trivialidad y al cabo de las horas termina en secretos de estado y confidencias fraternales. Si bien practico pesca con devolución en la mayoría de las ocasiones, con el pejerrey y con las especies marinas creo que la pesca termina en la mesa. Me gusta mucho cocinar el pescado para mi familia y amigos. Mi pesca preferida… la pesca del pejerrey en todas sus formas táctiles (a pulso) y visuales (a flote). No me gusta pescarlo a fondo. También me apasiona el spinning, y si es vadeando, mejor.

  • Como nació Pescadores en la Red..??

Me parece que vos sos bastante pícaro y querés saber lo que pasó con el proyecto anterior… De cómo me fui de un proyecto que estaba en franco crecimiento? Si bien como lo dije antes la idea y origen de Pescanautas nació en casa, los muchachos con los que luego me asocié, fueron los que lo hicieron crecer y ser el portal importante que es hoy. A veces uno comete pecados de juventud, tal vez escuchás a las personas equivocadas y “volcás”, la sangre llega más rápido que el criterio y se cometen errores. Hoy creo que nunca debí haber dejado Pescanautas, si bien este es un ambiente muy difícil con gente muy distinta en su educación, valores, objetivos, etc., allí quedó también gente buena con la que hoy me encuentro y compartimos algunas cosas. Sin justificar errores, como dijo el filósofo Ortega y Gasset “El hombre es él y las circunstancias” Un día cerré una puerta y abrí otra. Así nació Pescadores en la Red, hoy, mi querido proyecto.

  • Una anécdota entre tantas que quiera compartir..??

Una que si bien es graciosa, expone uno de los defectos más grandes que tienen muchos pescadores… Hace años, estaba en el muelle de Mar de Ajó pescando pejerrey, yo era un adolescente y miraba mucho lo que hacían los “viejos” para aprender de ellos. Había un señor que era demasiado prolijo con sus equipos, y en especial con la carnada. “Este debe ser concursero” pensé. Si los presentes clavábamos 3 escardones, él subía 10. En un momento, un pescador que recién había llegado se le acercó y sin mediar saludo empezó a recomendarle anzuelos, líneas y técnicas, sugiriéndole además que para pescar pejerrey debía ir a alguna laguna, que el muelle era para la corvina. El modesto pescador en absoluto silencio sacó 3 pejerreyes de 30 cm. en el lapso que duró el monólogo del moscardón. Se trataba de Don Nello Príncipi, uno de los grandes maestros de la pesca… y el otro le daba “consejos”!!!

  • Un deseo..??

Uno banal… pasar los últimos días de mi vida viviendo frente al mar. Pescando, cocinando y mirando el horizonte. Es increíble el efecto que tiene la línea del horizonte en mi cabeza.
Y el deseo genuino, que Dios me regale la gracia de vivir como lo hice hasta ahora, feliz, con mi familia, y con la posibilidad de en un escenario no tan lejano… poder llevar a pescar a mis futuros nietos.
